In week four me and my partner made a question in order to get some information from our target audience. we handed out the questionnaires to a lot people so we could get a good sampling size which would make the results more reliable. In my results i found that my audience are into films which can relate to them such film as kidulthood and adulthood. As a result i plan to make my opening scene about gangs and poverty as many people around east London can relate to these problems. kidulthood and adulthood where the most common films which my target audience had watched. As a result i plan to add the same type of themes and convention which are in kidulthood and adulthood to get the biggest audience and make my opening scene even more successful.Also i learnt that institutions which are involved in the production of british social realist films are not very popular. They are unknown institutions which don't have a lot of money. There is normal more then one institutions involved in creating one british social realism film. For example kidulthood has three institutions which helped with the production of the film.
This will inform my production because now i know what my target audience like an dislike. My Target audience seem to be into gangs and violence theme films as they can easily relate to such things in east London. Also has they like to relate to the films they watch i have decided to film my production in east London as that's where most my target audience live. i will also take some mise-en-scene from kidulthood and try to put it into my own film with a little twist on it. As a result this week as let me get closer to my target audience and let their opinion count towards the production of the opening scene.
